A report, brought In by Roy Liles,
secretary of the Dublin Athletic
Council, this week shows In correct
figures that the new.llghted football
field Is already free of debt. This
field, which has been dreamed of
by Dublin business men, was made
Into a reality during the summer
by whole-hearted cooperation of
the school. Dublin business men and
the general public, when they sub-
scribed to donations tor the pay-
ment of the field and the Tights in
order to Insure the possibility of
having the work done. At the time
It was estimated that the field
would pay Itself out of debt by the
end of two or three football seasons,
however It has been found that
since this year was such a good sea-
son for the Dublin football team. It
was possible to dear the entire debt
In one season.
Much of the credit Is to be given
to the superintendent of the schools.
