Advertisement announcing that Edgar B. Sutherlin is retiring, and that Southerlin Jewelers is closing. It reads: "Believe it or not... it's true - Two old men are going out of Business, John says, he will continue with his watchwork. "After 41 years in Port Arthur, I have been advised by the Doctors to rest, as I have had three strokes." Everything must be sold at 50% and All Music and Luggage at 25% and Less. The Sutherlin Family presents their collection of family letters to and from James Edgar Sutherlin, when he served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He enlisted before he was 18 and served from 1943 - 1946. Official Navy documents, ship menus, Newsletters, and family photographs are included.
