BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PARK BOARD OF TILE CITY 01 DALLAS:
SECTION 1: That the sum of $20,000.00 be transferred from uniT.ncumberid
Park Improvement Fund, Account 11.1, Y- 10, Item 67-2, to "Job 4 1, Bal II
Diamond Lighting".
SECTION 2: That the Director of Paris be authorized to proceed with
this project utilizing park labor, rental equipment, and contracts when
necessary - all materials to be obtained on competitive bids through
established purchasing channels.
SECTION 3: That this rcaolution be certified to Lhe City Council for
approval

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM (Boehm Birds) - The Director of Parks reminded
the Board members that, at the February 20, 1967 meeting (Vol. 14,
Page 485), he had informed them that Mr. E. W. Mudge, Jr. had made a
gift of 19 Boehm Birds to the Natural History Museum with additional
items in this collection to be donated during the year. At the end
of the year, the final gift covered 40 items in the Boehm Bird Collec-
tion and 4 pieces of Eskimo Art at an appraised value of $30,584.00.
The following summary showing the donations of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Mudg,
Jr. todate was presented to the Board:
