Recommends Physical Exami-
nation For School Children
Austin, Texas, Apr. 29.—“One
of the valued by-Droducts of the
May Dav-Child Health Day ac-
tivities of recent years has been
the stimulus to physical exami-
nations in the schools of our
State,” is the opinion of Dr. Geo.
W. Cox State Health Officer.
Early detection of these defects
and their correction will assure
better health and well being to
our coming generation.

fected tonsils on the system has
been recognized by health work-
ers for years. Many of the ills
of later life, such as heart dis-
ease, arthritis, deafness, etc.,
are directly traceable to tonsils
that became infected during
childhood and were allowed to

Dental defects are found in
more children than any other
imperfection, and for this reason
children should be taken regu-
larly to their dentist for exami-
nation and cleaning of the teeth
This precaution keeps the mouth
clean and makes it possible to
discover dental defects as soon
as they appear
Postural defects appear in the
life of a child much sooner than

ple exercises, diligently adhered

Formula For Farm Success
“If we are going to build an
organization such as we would
like to see,” said the manager of
a dairy cooperative recently,
‘we must find some way to make
every member think and talk'
about the cooperate the way he
does about his farm, his auto
mobile and his livestock. This
can be brought about by bring-
ing more of the problems direct
to the members to get their
advice and counsel in local meet
tings! Let us learn to talk about
our cooperative and other farm
organizations as part owners —
and proud of it—instead of inti

mating that these organizations
belong to the board of directors
or the managers. We must build
around a principle, and not
around men.”
It would be hard to find a bet-
ter general formula for farm
success than this The success-
ful farm cooperatives, situated
in every part of the country,
dealing in every important farm
crop—are co-ops whose mem-
bers take an intensive, continu-
ous and personal interest in or-
ganization affairs Once mem-
bers lose interest, or come to
feel that they are of no impor
tance to the organization, failure
becomes enevituble.

SEMINOLE
Continues to Grow
It is with a great deal of pride that
we can see and appreciate the sub-
stantial growth that has been made
in Seminole in becoming a better
and larger city.
It is indeed a pleasure to our organ-
ization to be able to co-operate in
helping to make strides along pro-
gressive lines that we hope have
helped Seminole to grow.
