west Texas Conference and they be invited to co-operate with
us in this plan.

tee was appointed: J. M. Barcus, H. B. Henry, W. L. Nelms,
S. J. Vaughan, J. P. Mussett, C. E. Lindsey, E. Hightower,

CONFERENCE TREASURER.
Resolved, That this annual Conference elect a Conference
treasurer whose duty it shall be to receive all the funds col-
lected for the several enterprises of the Conference and dis-
tribute the same under the direction of the several boards.
Resolved, second, that the treasurer shall make bond for
the safekeeping and distribution of the same in the sum of
$25,000.
Resolved, third, that the treasurers of the several boards be
entrusted with the approval of the treasurer's bond,

THANKS TO THE TELLER.
Resolved, That thanks of this Conference are due and are
hereby tendered to our noble layman, H. H. Simmons, for his
efficient services as teller of this Conference.

Resolved, That the Central Texas Conference hereby records
its grateful acknowledgment and cordial approeciation of the
citizens of Hillsboro and the pastors of the several churches
of the city for their beautiful, bountiful and hearty hospitality.
We also appreciate very much the many courtesies extended to
us by the banks of Hillsboro, the local press, the Dallas News,
the Waco Morning News, the Fort Worth Record and other
State papers.
We are especially indebted to John R. Morris, the pastor and
the splendid membership of the Hillsboro Methodist Church for
the many favors shown us.
We congratulate the church here on the building and equip-
ment of such a magnificent church building, and pray that the
great Head of the Church may continually manifest His pres-
ence in their regular services.
