"This is an authentic and faithful reproduction of the John Arrowsmith map of the Republic of Texas done at London, England, in 1841 A.D. Texas Heritage of Dallas, publisher of this reprint, possesses the original and guarantees that this particular copy in "One of 1,000," that the reproduction engravings have been destroyed, and that no further reprints will be offered for sale. Reprinted August 1, 1960 A. D. This particular reprint is registered as No. 729."

Note below seals reads, "Recognized as an Independent State by Great Britain, 16th Novr. 1840."

"Compiled from Surveys recorded in the Land Office of Texas, and other Official Surveys."

"London. Pubd. 17 April 1841 by John Arrowsmith. 10 Soho Square."
