term, 1812, in and for the county ol Harris, and by virtue
ol an execution and order of sale to me directed, I shall ex-
pose to publ.c sale, to the highest bidder, at the court house
door in the city of Houston, within the hours prescribed by
law, 011 the first Tuesday in September, 1846, it being ihe l-t
day ol the month, the following property therein desi ribed, viz .
twelve hundred acres of land on Buffalo Bayou, together wi-h
the houses, buildings, privileges ond appurtenances thereunto
belonging, and the lots which have been laid out on said kind,
and which constitute the town of Hamilton: said land having
been granted originally to John Bioun, as colonist, by the Mex-
ican government, and by him conveyed to Stephen liichdrdson
& Thomas Davis as will more fully'appear by reference to the
deed of sale which wa recorded in the Spanish book of Rec-
ord Book A, page 51, 52, and 53, at San Felipe de Austin, in
Austin county, on 22nd J inuary, 1838, relerence to which is
hereby made lor the more accuiate description and identifica-
tion of said l?nd ; reference is also made 10 the deed of sale by
which Thomas .ijvis grants his right, title and inieiest in said
land to Stephen Richardson, and also to the A ed of sale in
which Robert Wilson & Stephen Richardson conveys to Fran-
cis Moore one tenth part of their right, title, and in erest in
said land, lots, houses, buildings, privileges and appurtenances,
both ol which deed are recoided in the Clerk's Office of-the
