Academic Program Scoring Mental Ability Test be taken during the
freshman year while enrolled in Theory I.
THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY requires
that each psychology major must take a battery of
tests during his first semester of enrollment. A student
is not officially accepted into the program until
these tests are completed. These tests, however, are
in no way used as a screening device, but rather, are
used for counseling purposes with the student. This
battery of tests includes: The Guilford-Zimmerman
Temperament Survey, The Wechsler Adult Intelligence
Scale, The Strong Vocational Interest Blank
and the Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes.
COMMUNICATIVE DISORDERS CENTER: The
Communicative Disorders Center offers diagnostic
and therapy services for students and the general public
for speech, hearing and language disorders.
