Bible study must be at the heart of the curriculum. The Bible
is the one Book which shows the way to the Father and reveals
Him who is the WVy, the Truth, and the Life.
Education apart from a clear and definite knowledge of the
Bible is defective and incomplete, for if it neglects the spiritual,
it contains no power that can form and sustain character. We believe
that the strongest single factor in the development of character
is a reverent study of the Bible. Each course is planned to
promote definite spiritual training which shall yield a desirable
unity to be manifested in refinement, reverence and devotion-to
know "the sacred writings which are able to make thee wise unto
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."
Each freshman is required to take Courses 311 and 312. These
are general survey courses, planned to guide the student into a
definite and accurate knowledge of the entire Bible. They should
be followed by Courses 321 and 322 which are prerequisite to all
other courses in the Bible.
The required courses for students using Bible as a major in
addition to the twelve hours named above are 370 or 390, 371, 373
or 374, and 384. Students who major in Bible are urged to meet
language requirements with New Testament Greek.

in proper sequence.
312-New Testament History.
A telescopic view of the New Testament is presented in this
course, including a study of most of the New Testament books,
the main emphasis being upon the Christ and His life--not only
