373.-Social Teaching of Christ. This course gives a detailed
consideration to the teaching of Christ. The present day
application is stressed. The material is of immense interest and
profound importance to all students of the Bible and its application
to human society.
393.-Social Training in the Acts and the Epistles. This
course represents the social teaching given by the Holy Spirit
through Paul, Peter, James, Jude and John as it applies to conditions
of the present day.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION.
113.-Introduction to Religious Education. This course considers
certain educational principles and methods which are fundamental
in Christian education.
145.-Religious Education for Primary Grades. A consideration
of the best methods of giving Christian training to kindergarten
and primary children. Observation work is done.
213.-The Religious Problems of Adolescents. This course
deals with the particular problems of boys and girls during adolescense.
Material for the upper grades and high school is considered
together with the best methods of presentation. Observation
work is done.
253.-Problems of Elementary Religious Education. The
Christian training of elementary students will receive attention.
Observation in week-day Bible classes is offered.
303.-Methods in Religious Education. A more advanced
study of the problems and methods of week-day Bible classes.
313.-Religious Education in the Family. This course presents
a program of religious education in the home beginning
with early childhood and extending to manhood and womanhood.
Practical and scriptural.
333.-The Rural Church. The problems of the rural and
village church. A consideration of the best methods of doing
Christian work in American rural communities today.
373.-The City Church. The problems of the city church.
Those conditions which make Christian work difficult in our cities
are given special consideration.77
