Association held a very
interesting Turkey Dressing Demonstration
in the Agricultural
Building Friday October 26 This
demonstration was put on by Panl
Ciinyus Poultry Specialist from
A M College Turkey growers
taking part in this demonstration
brought their birds killed nnd
dressed them according to instructions
given by Mr Cunyus
Mr 1 T Hoggins president of
the locnl association was very
active in making this demonstration
a big success The turkey
growers in this county are expect
ing to dress their birds and ship
them to the market where they
will sell on their own merits
Express Rates Lowered
Information has just come to
tho County Agents office that
there Is a reduction of 25 per cent
on express rates to the various
markets This is considerable re
duction nnd it will mean that the
farmers will receive a greater profit
by shipping turkeys and other
poultry property dressed The Express
company is to be commendtd
on tho cooperation they are giving
tho farmers In this move

charges of robbing Charles Johnson

Johnson was robbed of between
