SWISHER COUNTY
HAS THREE VOCATIONAL
TRAINING TEACHERS
At the present time we have
three teachers employed in Swisher
county in vocational training
giving the boys and girls on tho
farms in the country the actual
instruction in the problems that
will daily confront them in after
years in their farm work
This work is being pushed and
fostered by the state and national
governments and the salaries
of these teachers are paid largely
by these governments in fact
they pay thrcefourths of their
salaries and the district or districts
employing the teacher only
have to pay the remaining one
fourth to secure the valuable help
of such a teacher
We know this is a good filing
or tho governments would not be
back of it so strongly It is not
their duty to supplant the county
agent but to cooperate with him
and give give him every assistance
possible
The Tulia Independent school
district lias secured the services
of T K Morris of San Marcus
Texas
Love Elkins and Valley View
are served by C B Martin of Bryan
Texas
J 0 Avery of Foley Alabama
is serving the Happy Fnion ITill
and Kaffir districts
These are all good practical
men and know their job and we
may look for much good to come
to the county from their services
with us Thanks to the progressive
spirit of tin above districts
