DANIEL BAKER COLLEGE
RECITALS AND LECTURES.
The Faculty of the School of Music will appear in public at
intervals during the year. Lectures on music topics will be free
to the student body. Recitals and lectures by eminent artists are
annually arranged for.
STUDENT RECITALS.
All music pupils are expected to appear in recital with rea.
sonable frequency. Students are prepared for public performance
by studio recitals, students' rehearsals, and chapel exercises.
DANIEL BAKER CHORAL CLUB.
The Choral Union comprises the Ladies' Choral Club and the
Men's Glee Club, and friends and alumni of the College. The presentation
of standard cantatas and oratorios is the purpose of this
organization. Concerts will be prepared in the Autumn and the
Spring.
THE LADIES' CHORAL CLUB.
The Ladies' Choral Club consists of voices selected by the Instructor
in Voice. Part-songs, choruses and cantatas for female voices
are used. The Club is commended to all ladies taking Voice, and
is required of them as regular voice students.
THE COLLEGE ORCHE:TRA.
All prospective students are urged to bring with them such instruments
as may be used in the small Orchestra. Regular and systematic
rehearsals of the College Orchestra will be held by the
Teacher of Violin.
THE COLLEGE BAND.
The College has a band, and asks that all prospective students
bring their instruments.
REGULATIONS.
Students will not be received for less than one term, or the
unexpired portion of a term. Tuition must be paid inadvance, or,
by arrangement, in monthly payments. Students are required to
advise with the Dean of Music before matriculation.
Lessons cannot be made up or tuition refunded except in case70
