The Texas Historical Foundation serves as an independent, non- profit,
historical preservation organization for the State of Texas. It was incorpored
under the laws of Texas in 1954 and is authorized to receive tax-deductible
gifts and donations pursutt to section501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code. It is composed of individuals, associations, corpoations, and other
foundations, both ithin and outside the State of Texas, who make annual
donations. It thus provides an opportunity for everyone to support significant
stateide historical preseration projects though tax deductible membership
