AN ACT
Lcalizin)g i}te records of Panola County, and constituting the'
sn-e a )part of the Records of the County of H-arrison.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and IHouse of Representativcs
( t/te ReIpublic of Texas in Congress assembled, That
atil busitnel. legally transacted, by the Officers of the Judicial
County of Panola, shall be considered as valid and binding,
in law, as if the same had been transacted by the Officers of"
any Constitutional County.
SEC. 2. Be itJfrther enacted, That the records of the Offices
of said Judicial County ofPanola shall formt and constitute
a part of the records of the Offices of the same kind, in
Harrison County, and it shall be the duty of the proper Officers
of Harrison County to get possession, as soon as practicable,
of said records.
SEC. 3. Be itfurther enacted, That should any person,
having possession of said records of Panola County, refuse to
deliver the same tothe proper officers of Harrison County, on
the application of said Officers, by themselves or their agents,
appointed in writing, the persons so refusing, shall, on conviction
thereof, before the District Court, be fined in the sum
ot five hundred dollars, and may be imprisoned one year,; at
the discretion of the Court.

JOINT RESOLUTION
Making an appropriation for contingent printing.
SECTION 1. Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Repre.
sentatives of the Republic of Texas in Congress assembled, That
the sum of seven hundred dollars be, and the same is hereby,
appropriated for the purpose of paying the contingent expenses,
incurred in printing, by the House df Representatives.
Sec. 2. Be it further resolved, That the sum of three hundred
dollars be, and the same is, hereby, appropriated, for
