Interurban Through South Houston
HE map shown above represents a portion of the route of the
Houston-Galveston Interurban line and shows conclusively
that this line will run through South Houston, just as it has always
been shown on the South Houston townsite map.
This map was prepared and given to us by the Stone & Webster
Engineering Corporation, which has done all the work for the In-
terurban line and will build the line from Houston to Galveston.
The map shows the Allen and Genoa county road, the G., H. and
H. railroad and the location of the electric line to be built in 1910.
Mr. Mark Lowd is in charge of the work here.
