The Union Hill Bulldogs par
ticipated In the county basketball
tournament at Happy this last
week end The Senior girls were
champions of the Rural division
winning over Elkins with a score
of 0 to 33 and Love 1 19
The Senior boys were defeated
by the team winning the tournament
Love with a score of 21 to
23 Then Love winning over Kaf
fir with a score of 23 and 25 Union
II111 has beaten Kaffir on every
occasion but with the above score
it would Indicate that they were
an even match Perhaps Kaffir and
Union Hill will meet again and
determine the outcome
Union Hill played the Kaffir
junior and senior boys Monday
night Jan 30 Both teams came
home victorious
The junior game was exciting
with a score of 7 4 at the half in
favor of the Bulldogs When the
final whistle blew the score stood
20 9 in favor of the Bulldogs
The senior game was the closest
game The score was tight all the
