For These Things
HE UNITED STATES has definitely emerged as the richest nation on
cnrtlt Its citizens earn e ach year ten hillioiib more than it costs them to
live In seven years it deposits in savings hanks and building and loan associations
have doubled
VI
our
lilc our national population has increased only 8 per ccnl since the war
national in come hns increased over thirty billions of dollars per year
or more
than 45 per cent The national debt has been reduced six and n
half billions and the yearly cost of government two billions
We have made fourteen million new niiloinobilcs in seven years
nnd have
built more than 35 < > 0000 new and better homos
Tho barriers of lime and distance have been swept away life made larger
and freer by the installation of six million more telephones and seven million
moift radio sets Also in seven years nine million more homes have
henn equipped with electricity
And as factory wheels hum something besides goods is being created The
more vital product of this prosperity is a spiritual stirring that is going on
in the land a searching for a fuller richer and more complete life
Mass production developed through the accessibility and abundance of
cheap electric power have made these things possible
Ior the privilege of having a part in this new order the electric light and
power industry is truly grateful
two years since their Inst visit

DeLuxe
6ply
We say this aboutthe new Miller DeLuxe Balloon despite the fact that
It costs more to buy than any tire we have handled
And we bank our reputation on the statement
Here is a tire of superstrength and finer quality than any tire we
have seen or hope to see
You who show neither cars nor tiresvany mercy will find it the definite
answer to your tire problem
Abuse it it was built for abuse Drive it fast you will never put it
through the grind It has met on the wheels of the Miller Test Fleet
and they couldnt wear It out
Note Its massive extra thick tread of new design It requires several
pounds of extra rubber to build it The finest rubber the markets of
the world afford
Its a 6ply tire of course but that Is not all It has double thick layers
of pure gum between the piles The puncture hazard Is practically
eliminated Internal friction is done away with
Note the new tread design the result of long scientific study to produce
the greatest nonskid effect ever achieved And two heavy strips
of solid rubber around Its outer edges prevent spotty tread wear
You may not need the great extra strength in this supertire You
may not need the extra thousands of miles built Into It If you do
buy It on our statement that It isthe most economical tire ever built
