Circulars had been printed
unl distribut d tolling of this demonstration
nnd putc a large crowd of interested
ladio men and children were
present
In telling of thi exhibition it Is hard
to find a starting point for onch one
demonstrated to us was the best ever
Howctcr on the east aide of tho field
tho Tordson traetor was at work With
a whistle as of glee and anxiety to boat
work this Fordson fairly made the
dirt fly The three discs eut through
the mellow enrth and Mr Andy George
lrt in sueli a manner as if he was
ruler of all he surveyed Cantrell
Shows arc the agents in Tulla for this
splendid traetor
Then wo stepped to the west and
watched the work of the two Case tractors
One was a 1527 tractor and one
was a 101S tractor H P Frederick
drovo the smaller one and there was
not the least bit of baiting in the work
of pulling the five discs With Mi1
7rum Vaughn at the steering wheel
tin I jg la traetor did most excellent
work nnd the six discs following seemed
not to affect it at all whether sev
rral indies in the ground or just two
or three inches Right justly are
Messrs Yaughn L Augspurger proud of
the work of the Case tractors They
state that if they could have gotten
more plows that they would willingly
have attached them to this big tractor
It was with pleasure that we stepped
over and viewed the work of the Wallis
tractor Mr W C Cowan tho progressive
agent for this tractor was at
the wheel the most of the time though
onte in a while he would relinquish control
to some interested party Up and
down the field it would go and at varying
speeds and the four discs cut the
weeds and turned the soil to the satisfaction
of the spectators The pulling
power of this tractor made us think nf
the work of twelve or fifteen horses
Then it was with pleasure that we
watched the working of the Cleveland
tractor of which Messrs 1 M and II
M Trunnell are the pleased agents Mr
J Hale the driver would set the
plows and start the tractor and busy
himself about other things or look after
the plows and the Cleveland would go
right along down the field Mr J W
Burgess and others gladly accepted a
scat on the tractor and made trips
around the field While this is apparent
a small machine jet it is a glutton
for work and a Ooliath for
strength and pulling power
Next in order was the viewing of the
