SIMMONS COLLEGE CATALOGUE
Each instructor keeps a record of his recitations and examinations.
Reports are issued from time to time showing the
standing of the student in each subject, in attendance and in
marks. These reports are usually sent out at the end of each
month. The passing grade in every subject is seventy-five per
cent, provided that the term examination must not fall below
fifty per cent. Each student is required to take at least twelve
hours of recitation work weekly. Fifteen hours weekly is a fair
average for Senior Academy and College students. More than
eighteen hours' work requires permission of the faculty.
