grade teachers,, music supervisors, and vocal students who wish to learn
the fundamentals of reading music. The course will begin with the
simplest one part music and continue through three and four part music.
A knowledge of sight singing brings independence to the singer and the
joy and satisfaction of correct singing. T. Th., 2:30-3:30.
132. Conducting (Choral). Students in the conducting class will be taught
the correct use of the baton in beating various measures and prompting
the different parts. W. F., 1:30-2:30.
Note: The above named courses will be invaluable help to public school
teachers, evangelistic singers, and all others who have anything to do with
group singing.
