LITERARY
BIBLE AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
BIBLE
Dr. Fry and Dr. Atwood
In the courses listed below will be found those that deal directly with the
Bible itself. The American Revision will be used in connection with suitable
aids. Other courses deal more directly with applied Christianity.
115. Old Testament. An introduction to the history, literature and teachings
of the old Testament. 9:00. Dr. Fry.
335. The Life of Christ. A sympathetic study of the life of Christ will be
made as it presents itself in the four Gospels. The work in this course
will be found fundamental to a vigorous and safely anchored Christian
life. 7:00. Dr. Fry.
413. Acts of the Apostles. A somewhat exhaustive study will be made of
Acts with collateral readings of certain incidents in some of the epistles.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
113. Sunday School Course. This course is designed to cover the ground
presented in the Sunday School Manual of Teacher Training, but in a
fuller way. Organization of the church school, child psychology, methods
of teaching, and an introduction to the Bible as the curriculum are
embraced in the course. The Sunday School diplomas and seals are
awarded by the Sunday School Board for this course. 11:00. Dr.
Atwood.
233. Methods of Teaching Religion. An application of the principles of
modern pedagogy in the field of religion. Technic, classroom procedure
and types of teaching. 10:00, T. Th. S. Dr. Atwood.
