PRESIDENT NOTES (continued from front page)
significant difference to a party in need of disaster relief, that
party being a member of the HELLCAT FAMILY. We turn to
our Hellcat Family and ask if there are any emergency needs
that the association should be made aware of. (There may be
individual situations called to the attention of the UNIT
REPS, which could be considered eligible for participation in
this fund.) We ask that any request for such relief be a legiti-
mate bonafide need.
This notice has now been published twice. Appearing in both
the June and July issues of the Hellcat News. There is a cut off
date. The cut off date is AUG. 1,1994. All requests for partici-
pation in the EAMDRF must be sent to Executive Secretary
Bob Head. To be in his hands no later than AUG. 1,1994. Any
requests which have been received by AUG. 1, 1994, and
deemed worthy will be reviewed by the Executive Council.
Should no requests be received or granted, a motion will be
placed before the Executive Council during the Schaumburg
Reunion. This motion will ask to return all money in the
EAMDRF to the original donors. A complete record is on file.
ELECTION PROCESS: From Chapter Meetings thoughts
generate and ideas flow. Talk is simply that—"TALK." Some
of the ideas are worthwhile, others questionable. The main
concern on my part is whether it's good for the 12th ADA. I
was disturbed by one party who declared the method of our
voting was illegal. Should you hear this opinion, forget it. We
are 100 percent on solid ground! 1st V.P. Maurice Glover
checked through Roberts Rules of Order—we have no problem
here. I made an appointment with an attorney to check this
out. We reviewed both the past and present methods of voting.
I have been assured that both methods are solid and proper,
100 percent proper. Remember, if you hear a RUMOR, SPIKE
IT—Don't add to it.
