Mrs. Wanda Ttfer of Clearwater,
Kansas was In Follett visiting with
relatives and friends over the Chr-
istmas holktajys.
Mir. and Mrs. A. O. Cotney en-
tertained In their home with a
dinner on New Year's Day. Mr.
and Mrs. E. E. Crump, Tlmmy
and StantHey, A. C. Cotney Jr.
Doneva and Randy and In the af-
ternoon Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lit-
Pfc. Willie Hamilton returned to
Camp LaJeune, N. Carolina Thurs-
day morning after spending a very
enjoyable Xmas with his wife.
John Sislc returned from Perry-
ton Saturday morning where he
has been in the hospital under the
care of Dr. Kingle. He is much bet-
ter.
Mrs. Frank Miatlack was taken
s to the Shattuck Hospital Tuesday
evening, to undergo a major op-
eration on Wednesday morning,
Jan. 2nd.
Charles Singhisen who is in the
Navy came in recently from Guam
where he has been for some time
to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Singhisen of near Follett.
Mrs. Etna H. Russell accompan
led by Mrs. Milton Bruce and dau
ghter, Miss Glennice motored to
Hlggins, Texas and went on down
to Shattuck, Oklahoma last Sun-
day afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Laubhan
and son .Reggie of Follett left We
nesday for Dallas and Austin to
attend to some business matters
and while gone will do a little
sightseeing and visiting before re-
turning to their home here.
Pfc. Willie Hamilton arrived
from Camp LaJeune, N. Carolina
Sunday morning to spend Christ-
mas with his wife and her family,
we are very glad he was. able to
spend Xmas with her and wish
them a very enjoyable visit and
Merry Xmas.
The Times Staff is sorry to learn
that Mr. Ira Russell of the Logan,
Oklahoma Community is reported
to be 111 and Is a patient in the
hospital at Shattuck, Okla. The
Follett Times Joins Mr. Russell's
many friends in wishing him a
speedy recovery.
LaVeta Steinert and Louise
Born returned to Lubbock Wedn
esday after spending the holidays
visiting with friends and relatives
Both girls are enrolled at Texas
Technological College. LaVeta is a
Freshman Music Major and Louise
is a Junior Home Economics Edu-
cation Major.
Mrs. John Gex of Follett who
has been 111 for the past several
/weeks was taken to the hospital
at Shattuck, Oklahoma last Thu-
rsday. The good lady had just re
cently been released from the hos-
pital. The Times Joins her many
friends In wishing her a speedy
recovery.

thurs and family of Liberal, Kan-
sas were In Follett Monday atten-
ding to some business matters and
while here visited with a number
of their friends, they were going
to Shattuck, Oklarfbma to spend
New Years Day with relatives
