WARDLAW FAMILY BIBLE
A Family Bible which belonged to the Robert r. Wardlaw family is currently in
possession of the Anderson Co. Genealogy Society. It was found in a storage company
in San Antonio, Texas, after being placed there ca 1924. R. P. Wardlaw and
lauma A. Reynolds were married in 1876 in Opelika, Lee Co., Alabama. From an obituary
found in the Bible, along with other miscellaneous items, it seems that T. A.
Reynolds travelled with his two married daughters to Palestine, Texas in 1882.
The Society is trying to find a direct descendant of these families in the
next 6 months so that this Bible may be given to them. Please send proof of heirship
and SASi to the Anderson County Genealogy Society, P. 0. Box 204 , Palestine, Texas
75802. Surnames in the Bible include Wardlaw, Hanks, Reynolds, and Cosart
