Notes

"Description of Photo: Freight-baggage transfer service, Jacksonville. Ernest Smryl operated freight-baggage transfer service between I. & G. N. Cotton Belt, and T. & N. O. Railroads in Jacksonville until World War I, when the service was consolidated at I. & G. N. Railroad under the war-time consolidation of railroad services nation-wide. Service included Railway Express Agency pick-up and delivery. Smryl worked for the T. & N. O. Railroad in Jacksonville after World War I until he retired in 1930s."
