Your Scout Troop, Cub Pack or Explorer Post can earn money easily, quickly and without
risk by selling a product which every home needs—light bulbs. A typical troop, pack,
or post will earn $10 per boy. And do it in a single afternoon.
When your boys sell Revere Long Life* Light Bulbs, they will first-of-all be earning money
for worthwhile scouting projects. But just as important, they will be learning how to
be good businessmen. They will be selling their customers a superior product—a light
bulb, which is guaranteed in writing tor 3 years (2500 burning hours).* Compare this
with ordinary bulbs, which burn out in less than 1 year (750 burning hours) and carry
no guarantee at all. When you sell a Revere Bulb, you are selling the finest light bulb
made for home use. ('Revere 100 watt light bulbs have an average life of 2500 hours
and an average illumination of 1460 lumens. Regular 100 watt bulbs have an average
life of 750 hours and an average illumination of 1750 lumens.)
The average home has 24 light bulb sockets. Somewhere a light bulb is winking out
right now. The odds are 3 to 1 it's not a Revere Light Bulb. But whatever it is, the
odds are 1,000 to 1 someone will buy a new one to replace it. Why not from you?
How Much Will You Earn?
Frankly, you can earn as much as you wish. Every home needs light bulbs so the list of
potential customers is unlimited. If you want to conduct a small drive and complete
it in one afternoon, order one carton of bulbs per member.
Each carrying carton contains 20 packages of bulbs—3 bulbs to a package. The bulbs
sell for $1.25 per package. Your income from each carton is $25. You keep $10 profit
and send us $15 for the bulbs. The table below will tell you the number of cartons to
order and your profit.

If you have . . . then order . . . profit will be:
10 members 10 cartons $100 profit
20 members 20 cartons $200 profit
35 members 35 cartons $350 profit
50 members 50 cartons $500 profit
And this is just average. Many units have made twice this much and more by selling
over two cartons per member.
No Investment—No Risk
Best of all, Revere light bulbs guarantee a profit without risk or investment. You send
