Hartman to Host
Children's Performance
The Wylie Theatrical Co. is
sponsoring the Garland Civic
Theatre's Alice in Wonderland
at Hartman Elementary
School Saturday at 10 am.
and 1 p.m.
Alice, the White Rabbit,
Cheshire Cat, and all their
friends will bring Wonderland
to life in the "children on
stage" performances.
"We really hope the
community will come out in
support of this production,"
said Jim Swartz, Wylie Theat-
rical Co. president. "We
thought early performances
would provide a welcome
alternative to Saturday car-
toons."
Roger Sherburn, director of
the Wylie group's previous
performances, said, "We
expect that youths of all ages
will enjoy the adventures of
Lewis Carroll's well-loved
characters. Pink lemonade
and cookies from the Mad
Hatter's Tea Party will be on
sale at intermission."
Tickets are $5.00 for adults
and $3.00 for children, ages
12 and under, and may be
purchased at the door or by
phoning 442-8682.
