Nine Present For G.A.
Meeting Monday
The Baptist Girls' Auxiliary
met at the church Monday after-
noon at 3:15 in the G. A. room.
There were nine members in
attendance, including one new
member, Beverly Dempsey, who
was welcomed by the group.
The usual program consisted of
the G. A. hymn, allegiance and
star ideals. After the vice presi-
dent, Judy Shields, called the
meeting to order, the counselor
conducted an interesting quiz
game concerning questions and
answers from the scriptures of
the Bible in which each member
took part. There was a discussion
of general interest.
The meeting was adjourned un-
til next Monday with- the dismis-
sal prayer by Patsy McMillan.

Completion of a new $l'/2 million general office building by the SSt. Louis Southwestern (Cot-
ton Belt) Railway at Tyler, Texas, permits the consolidation of most of its supervisory and clerical
forces under one roof. The three-floor structure, located at 1517 West Front Street, measures 200 x250
feet, providing three acres of floor space. One of the two 56 x 108 foot inside courts that provide light
for the inner offices has been especially treated for use as a patio. The frame of the building, built in
three sections separated by expansion joints, is of reinforced concrete with concrete floor and roof
construction. The foundation was constructed and the offices so arranged that future expansion of the
building is possible.

MAGGIE McKENZIE, popular radio star of KGNC says, "Every
woman knows light Karo is best for coo/cmg .. and on the table...
Karo for me, the best-tasting
* waffle syrup of em all"
Yes, indeed... biscuits go like hot cakes when
you pour on plenty of delicious Karo waffle
syrup. There's nothing like it for good eating.
Satisfyin' flavor. So rich it stands right up on
top of biscuits (keeps 'em light and fluffy).
Keep Karo on your table morning, noon and
night... it tops anything!
Ask your grocer for Karo waffle syrup, «n pints and quarts
