-Now tho Dallas Newa dispatch-
es aay that Parker may have a
hard row to hoe yet in socuring
the democratic nomination.
PonnBylvania refused to instruct
for him and Illinois is lost to him
while Ohio looks very unpromis-
ing. Bryan's influence is being
felt and there is considerable
alarm in the Parker camp. It is
formally nnnounced that while
Bryan refuses to spoak against
Hearst ho knows the newspaper
man cannot be elected and does
not favor his nomination. Ex.-
Vice President Stevenson is be-
ing talked some.
The four territories of the West
are to bo admitted as two states
which which' will leave Only one
territory in tho nation Alaska.
The statehood bill has passed the
house admitting Arizona and
New Mexico as one state Arizo-
na; and Oklahoma and Indian
Territory as one state Oklaho-
ma. The demorats contended
for the rights of these territories
against a solid republican vote
claiming that four states should
be created. But tho republicans
feared that at least six of tho
now United States senators
would bo democrats and arrang-
ed to break even by allowing the
democrats the two senators from
Arizona hoping to offset these
with two republican senators
from Oklahoma. They may be
fooled in the latter.

Like a Diamond
in the Sky A
In tho annals of medicine Kodol Is up
abova the world so high that It la like a
diamond In the sky. True merit has
elevated this famous remedy to that
position wherein It stands preeminently
as the World s recognized cure lor an
disorders of the stomach and digest
tlve organs. '
Unlike all other remedies
Kodol combines the natural dl-
gestants with the greatest known
tonic and reconstructive prop
erties. It does not purge the
system. The weak should
never be weakened and the
sick should never be sick-
ened. Such treatment
gives temporary relief
often but permanent good
never.
Imrhedlate benefits
follow the first dose
and perfect health Is
the permanent result
derived from the
use of Kodol.
