ports last week's frost heavy
enough to burn (he leaves on his
peaoh trees but did not hurt the
fruit. The first time ho ever saw
it happen that way.

A cyclist touring in southern
France was pushing his machine up
a steep hill when he overtook a peas-
ant with a donkey cart. The poor
beast was doing jiiu best but with
all its efforts m'ude little progress.
The humntiQ cyclist putting his left

so hard that the donkey took fresh
