Tuesday Night's Rain.
. At Abilene .37 of an inch fell
very slowly. Grass was benefit-
ted. T. E. Lloyd living a few miles
up Lytle reports a much better
rain than here in faot a good
rahy and it looked to him as if
it was still better further up the

T. W. Clark's boys phoned in
from Dudley that they got the
best rain of the season.
J. V. Howerton two miles oast
reports about suoh a rain as we
had. He says that grass alone
will be benefitted as the subsoil
is perfectly dry and the top dries
out in a few hours.
