COVER
School doors are swinging open and autumn's leafy grandeur
will soon be here—but memories of summer linger for a long
time in a boy's mind. While the days are still warm and the
leaves are still green, it's easy to remember that trip to the
big league game, the week at camp, the overnight hike with
Dad, the greased-watermelon free-for-all at camp, the
family vacation to Washington, that Indian dancing at camp,
afternoons at the old swimming hole, that first dark night he
heard "Taps" at camp, picnics and charcoal and hot dogs.
Cheer up, bud—there's always next year!
