If you have met disap-
pointment the past year
don't despair. If there
have been failures, for-
get t^iem. If you have
made mistakes, don't
brood over them.
The New Year
should bring opportu-

disappointments, re-
trieve fyour failures,
and right your mis- i
takes. You may be able
to steer clear of some
of these things by buy-
ing your Watches, Spec-

R. T. Cope's and by
hayjing him to do your

HILL'S BUSINESS
COLLEGE
Tke Greatest Business Uni vesity
of the South.
There never was a time when
the staunch institution, the
tiarrie which heads this column,
was in better or more favorable
condition for doing high grade
work than now. It has grown
and improved with the passing
years, and its reputation now is
as wide as the State and as solid
as the rock. Its thousands of
graduates are filling positions
of prominence in this ann other
States and the capability of its
students is not called into ques-
tion. Perhaps no institution
has placed so many of its stu-
dents into good paying positions
and it is very certain that none
stand higher with the business
community. All this is the re
suit of conscientious and pains
taking labor on the part of Prof
R H Hill, the president of the
College. Quality rather than
quanity has been the motto and
the result is when a young man
or Woman completes a course lie
is proficient. There is in every
man that originates, builds up
and maintains a business some
element of true greatness. This
is not laoking in the president of
Hill's Business College. He
has stamped his impress on the
business college world and has
winced ai no discouragement or
competition, but in the face of
adversity and prosperity alike
he has known only one idea land
that idea has been to maintain
a high standard of excellence
and to ac hieve victory by de
serving it. That this has been
done his magnificent institution
will amply testify. It will not
be a wise thing for any young
man or women to attend a bus-
iness college without, first con-
sulting Prof. R H Hill of Waco,
Texas, or Memphis, Tenn. He
will be glad to send free of
cnarge his catalogue to any one
desiring it.—Baptist? Standard.
R. H. Higntower, the cotton
buyer is back at his po?t since
the holidays. He visited his
family at Henderson Cnristtr as.
S H. Frazier, of Harmony re-
ports everything in fair shape
in his community. They made
plenty of corn, feed an J Syrup.
Mrs. Perkins and daughter,
Miss iva, of San Angelo, are
visiting relatives in and near
the city.
