MARCH
COVER
Decibels are one measure of the success of a Cub Scout den
meeting, but there are two schools of thought on how to
interpret this measurement. While Cubs wouldn't recognize
decibels when they heard them, the 1,822,062 Cubs — including
the two on our cover —agree at the top of their voices that
the more decibels, the better at a den meeting. The 325,000
Den Mothers, however, share the viewpoint of our "cover
girl" that about 60 decibels, indicating the level of
conversation, are adequate for a den meeting.
