Get ready to join the
Big Parade
EVERYBODY OUT IM UNIFORM

It happens every year. The whole town turns out for the
big parade. And right up in the vanguard—with all eye5
focused on them—are your boys.
How are they going to stack up against the other Units?
That's a question you have to ask yourself right now.
And the answer is in your own leadership. You can have
every boy in your outfit turn out in full uniform if you
decide to do something about it this very minute.
Plan to talk to your boys about the value of good appear-
ance. Stress the importance of the uniform as a symbol of
public recognition, as a builder of morale and Unit spirit.
If you get your boys sold on the wearing of the uniform,
even those in the most modest circumstances will find the
cost within easy reach. A little character-building work
after school will do it.
When you talk to your boys, be sure to wear your uniform.
That's the most persuasive argument you can present, and
you'll be giving living proof to your words.
