From onr Spdal Corrrspontlent.
The other day we saw six horse-
men riding over the prairie wo
knew from their calm nd patient
gait they could not be cowboys.
We soon learned however that
they were land prospectors tho
same old story looking out for a
place to locate. We are pleased
to say they found land to suit
their bright dreams and ample
means. They are great rugged
stalwart fellows who mean busi-
ness for as soon us they buy a
farm they immediately commence
building and fencingl
Scattered around in the corners
and out of the way places one sees
many bundles of fruit trees which
are but little things now but point
towards a prosperous future.
Our school facilities are very
good one being established in
each neighborhood. Xt. Moro
school Xo. 2 is in a nourishing
condition although the country is
as yet thinly settled. Thirty schol-
ars have been enrolled here and
among tho number may bo found
as bright a bevy of fair maidens as
can bo found in more favored
places. They are looking forward
with bright anticipation to a Christ-
mas tree.
We notice among tho solid com-
fort which surround the homes of
j many of Ut. Moro's substantial
j citizens pens of tine and exceed
ingly fat hogs and droves of tur-
keys unconsciously awaitining tho
Christmas tide.
Kecently an old man spent thoN
night on the ranch who was quite
a study. lie had gone out in forty- j
