the news of five marriages and two
engagements of North Texas stu-
dents and exes.
Joyce Howell, Gatesville, and
| Dan Moody Edwards, Gatesville,
were married Sept. Hi. Joyce is u
' member of Phi Sigma Alpha soror-
ity.
The First Methodist church in
1 Decatur was the scene of the mur-
1 riage of De Lai tie Branche and
Arnie Kay Deaton on Sept. 14.
Their pnrents are Mr. and Mrs.
H. M. Branche and Mr. und Mrs.
A. P. Deaton, both of Decatur. Mr.
arid Mrs. Deaton are still attending
North Texas.
Sept. 1 vows were said for Less-
ley Ryall, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Kyall, Jasper, and A. J.
Triggs Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A.
J. Triggs Sr., Dallas. Mrs. Triggs
was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha
sorority, and Triggs was a Talon.
Nancy Scarborough, daughter of
Mrs. Lillian C. Scarborough, Dal-
las, and Lt. Bobby Lee Fikes, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Lee J. Fikes, Dal-
las, were also married on Sept. I.
An August wedding was solemn-
ized for Peggy Starling, Seminole,
and I<ee Brown, Denton. The couple
now reside at 20fi Avenue D.
Oct. 13 has been set as the wed-
ding date of Marilyn Moody, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. James Otis
Moody, Pittsburg, and Gordon Eu-
