Mrs. V X. HibIiler was down from
Denison Monday transacting business
in MeKinney, where she formerly
lived for several years. She and her
husband moved to Denison a month
or two ago. She states that they had
both been sick with the influenza, but
have recovered, for which they are
both thankful. Mrs. Hibbler describ-
ed the situation as deplorable during
the worst stages of the epidemic In
Denison. She said that it was nothing
unusual to see six or seven funeral j
processions p iss her homo the same
day, during the worst stages of the
disease. On ono oi i anion two of their
friends, big stalwart voung men and
brothers were buried in the same
grave. Mrs. Hibbler was happy at the
passing of the dreaded epidemic.
