"~ pt ~. U
I~i~iiThe Sewing Club, an organization consisting of girls who are taking
the Home Economics course, is in Freshman and Sophomore divisions.
The Freshman girls called their club the "Snappy Scissors," and
have for its work the making of fancy work and the study of designing.
"The Daubers" club is composed of the Sophomore girls who work on inter-
ior decoration. In this work they have made very noticeable progress,
making such things as lamp shades, cleverly dressed ladies, and many
unique favor baskets.
Each club has a social affair every month, entertaining those girls
who have birthdays during the month. Not only are these girls interest-
ed in their Home Economics work, but they are now helping Miss Wilker-
son to further her "Better Health Movement" in the high school.
