est snow storm for several seasons
raged a large number of admiring
friends were present. The reception
given was well worth the effort re-
quired to attend. The decorations
of the various apartments of this
home consisted of tasty arrangements
of hlslletoe and the evergreen papper
tree of Southern California The so-
cial feature of this oecaslor. was most
enlovable. After delicious refresh-
ments were served the guests de-
parted anticipating the wedding to
take place the following evening.
The marriage of these young peo-
ple was celebrated at the Methodist
Episcopal church South Vednsdu
evening. De cember SO before an au-
dience of friends that nearlv filled
the auditorium o' the new church.
Rev. J. R. Henson of Quanah who
was for four years pastor here offi-
ciated assisted by the local pastor
Rev. H. M. Long. The decorations
of the church represented a snow
