Final eheck of school census
is beiag made by the county su-
perintendent.
All parents and guardians
shoald see that their children
are properly enumerated so the
district in which they live will
be able to draw his or her appor-
tionment.
No child can be transferred
who is not enumerated, since the
state only appropriates asoney
for these enumerated, and if the
child does not hare his money in
the district where he lives, no
transfer caft be made.
Parents should make sure each
child is enumerated and thia
must be done immediately. Help
your child, your school, by look-
ing after this matter.

. FARMERS WHO AKE
BURDENED Bf KBI
Farmers whose operations are
being hinderad hv excessive in-
debtedness on their land, live-
atock or equipment may get re
lief from thasa burdens if they
nill came to the Marion County
debt adjustment committee meat
hig, which is to be held at FSA
office Jefferson, an Thursday,
11th day of May at 2 p. m.
According to H. Ray Taylor,
Farm Security Administration
supervisor, the committee dots
•ot lend money, but seeks to \
roach an agreement with each
farmer whereby he can pay his I
debts to the satisfaction of his
creditors who agree to the ad-
justment. "It is not the com-
mittee's puri>ose to help anyone
hvoid any honest debt," Mr.
Taylor said, "but many times it
will mean more in the long rurt
to creditor* to bring their farm-
ers' obligations within their abil-
ity t,o pay."
"When this has been done,"
he continued, "they can be raha
lalitated, and the FSA will guide
mem in goad farming practices
and finance them in the purcti-1
s<> of additional livestock and
equiiwnent so that they can even.
