services wore held lit the Wyllo Cem-
etery Monday afternoon. All the old
Confederates' graves were decorated
with flowers and wreaths by groups
of little girls dressed lu white. Thc\
old soldiers marched Into the ceme-
tery, following the Confederate ling
surrounded by small United States
flags carried by tho Hoy Scouts. Fol-
lowing the ceremonies at Hie graves,
they marched outside the cemetery,
where a platform hail been erected
and addresses were made by Hevs.
Smith, Nowsom and Uolson. Hon. W.
F. Duncan and Judge Davis of Mc-
Kinney and several of the "old Con-
federates. Dr. J. F. Butler and Ma-
jor ItilllngHley were masters of cere-
monies.

For four consecutive times ruin has
delayed the work on the Collin Coun-
ty division of the Oklahoma, Texas &
dulf Highway. May 12 and 18 had

along this proposed route. Plans hud
been completed for many men and
teams to work the roads upon these
dales, tint It began raining this morn-
ing about ft o'clock and ruined until
about noon, it will he several days
yet before any work can be done on
the roads. The good roads working
was rained out twice In March, once
in April and again this morning. An-
other effort will he made, and it la
hoped to have these roads In good
condition by the time tho Coldtado
tourists paas this way.
