Cherokee County Texas up to
10:00 o'clock AM on the 12th
of October, 1931, for the pur-
chase by said County of one
crawler type tractor; payment
to be made partially by trad-
ing in old tractor, part cash
and part in legally issued Road
find Bridge Warrants of ^?id
County. The Commissioners
Court will pass an order on the
12th of October, 1931, author-
izing the issuance of such War-
rants not exceeding $3000 00.
The maximum maturity date
being October 15th, 19?4,
bearing interest at the rate of
6 per cent per annum-
Said bids to be deposited
with the County Judge. The
Commissioner's Court reserves
the right to reject any and all

the Bethel settlement in pre-
paration for the Chicken Din-
ner Saurday Jr. the Sloan build-
ing between the fwo hardware
stores. 20 hens buckets of salad
and dressing, bushels of yam
potatoes, 40 pies, various kinds
of pickles, coffee and tea with
plenty of pretty eirls to serve
at 35 cents a plate will help to
feed the hungry multitude of
200 expected to participate be-
tween 11 a. m. Saturady and 3
p. m. Many wives are declar-
ing a holiday, in some cases
whole families are to partici-
pate. The Bethel Church is
made up of hard workers. They
are a worthy people and are
not begging. They hava your
moneys worth prepared with
Methodist measure.
