In July {
July is the month of Cele-
bratiou of Christ for the church
es and christians of Smithville
It was a basic religious con-
viction that moved America's
founding fathers and the com-

United States. Our coinage pub-
lically proclaims "in God We
Trust" We pledge "OneNation
Under God". Our flag has white
tor purity. Our great seal tpps
the pyramid with the all seeing
eye of God We defend the
doctrine of freedom of religion
and conscience The meeting
house of the Revolution was
under the steeple of the village
church and the King of England
considered the Colonies'
pastors his greatest enemy for
their inciting to freedom.
Our doctrines of brotherhood
and love, service and charity,
Industry and ethics are to beifc-
membered on part of America's
Bicentennial, and they come to
us directly from a far more
ancient heritage of faith and
obedience to the Lord, Jesus

Research
Conducted
On Flour
AUSTIN-The use of food pro-
ducts, such as bread, of flour
made from sunflower seeds is
the subject of new research be-
ing conducted by nutritionists in
The University of Texas Home
Economics Department.
The research is deemed im-
portant because of the high
quality of protein found in sun-
flower seeds
The UT scientists explain that
because many Americans get
much oftheirdailyprotein from
breads and cereals, improving
those products nutritionally--
through addition of sunflower
flour--also could improve
diets.
