On New Years evening the hdspit- j
able doors of the pustors home were
thrown open to Missionary Hull and
wife ami the Deacons with their
wives. 'At an early hour o: goodly
number had arrived and soon 'all
were ushered into the dining room
where after a brief prayer of thanks-
giving for the wonderful blessings
of the past year and guidance la the
new year led by Bro. Hull the dea-
cons were seated around a table well
loaded with the substantial things of
life. When the deacons had sufficient-
ly nourished the inner man the ladies

a number of aged ladies last Tuesday
honoring Jiers mother's seventy-fifth

Borden County was seriously injured
some days ago in an exphiou of
cement works; at Sweetwater. He
went back to the hpme of hia father
near Gail and a physician was call-
ed from Snyder this week to see him.
