A Message To The Voters Of
The White River Municipal
Water District
The election that has been called by the Directors of the White
River Municipal Water District for November 16,1963, is necessa-
ry because of the fact that at least three of the member cities of
the District expanded and enlarged their city limits since the ori-
ginal formation of the District.
Since the District, after its said original formation, expanded
and enlarged its territory, to include all of the presently expand-
ed ar§as of the cities of Post, Spur, Ralls and Crosbyton, the elec-
tion has been called to give voter approval for the assumption of
the original District's bonded indebtedness by the expanded and
enlarged District.
This type of election will have to be called each time that the
District territory is enlarged, in order to maintain the District's re-
sponsibility as a whole for the District's indebtedness.
