"Week of Prayer
on WSG Program
The Methodist Church parlor
was the meeting place for the
"Week of Prayer" program of
the Wesleyan Service Guild on
Monday night.
Talks were given by Mrs. Glen
Brashear on the need of student
centers and ho , .4 in Argentina.
Mrs. E. E. Medlock told of the
"Christian Libraries Around the
World" and the great need for
others. Mrs. V. R. Haitom talked
on the "Deaconess Retirement
Fund" and the appreciation ol
the deaconesses in receiving the
fund, and the many different
jobs they still do even after re-
tirement.
A free will offering was taken
to be sent to help with these
protects.
Mrs. Arlie fewell, program
leader, read the 17 chapter oi
John and stressed three key
words of the chapter. They are
glory, glorify and joy.
Rev. Carlton Thomson admin-
istered the Holy Sacrament to
the following: Mmes. A. W. Wal-
lace, E. O. Boyd, Cap McNeill,
