Kendrick, Karen Watson, Mrs.
Brice Allen, and Mrs. Bobby Ken
drick. The girls are members of
the Junior Harmony Club.
Friday visitors in the home or
Mr. and Mrs. Millard ' Watson
were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brew-
er, Mr. and Mrs. Fred McDougle
and three aunts of Mrs. Watson,
Mrs. Joe Mustgraves, Mrs. Ellen
Johnson, and Mrs. Mae Kotch,
all of Wichita Falls, Texas.

ed Henry Meredith, weighing 7
pounds 11 ounces in a Lubbock
hospital.

Mrs. Joe Appling on birth of a
son. Saturday, April 8 in the
Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. The
boy was named David Lynne and
he weighed 6 lbs apd 4 ounces.

Mr. and Mrs. Horace Marlar of
Crosbyton are announcing the
engagement and approaching
marriage of their daughter, Rob
bie, to Cpl. Charles A. Edwards,
formerly of Ralls. He is station-
ed at the Presidio of San Fran-
cisco, California. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Edwards of
Ralls.
Robbie is a graduate of Cros
byton high school and her fi-
ancee graduated from Ralls high
scool.
The wedding rites will be read
in the home of the bride-elects
parents on May 8.
After the wedding the eouple
will return to San Francisco
where he will have six months
of service in the Army.

day coffee of the Lubbock Junior
Garden Club, April 6, for a dis-
play of special occasion table
arrangements. They were guests
of Mrs. S. W. Brunson.
revival started last Sunday and
is now in progress. Prayer meet
ing starts at 7:30. Singing and
preaching at 8:00. We hope to
see everyone in the community
attend a least one service if not
all of them.
