Atoka Indian Territory for the murder of

points in th cotton districts of Arkansas
Louisiana Missisippl and Tex' giving
the condition of the cotton erop up to Sep-
tember 10th tea days later than the monthly
reports of tho exchanges. The following is a
summary :
LOUWUXA.
Eighteen returns from 16 parishes showing
the weather with the exception of 2 parishes
unfavorable on account of too much rain.
Only ono parish report the weather better
than last week. Three parishes report
tho condition of the crop unchanged from
last week. Three changed for the worst.
The crop is very unfavorab'e as compared
with last year. Two parUhes report shedding
from the army worms; eijht from boll
worms; doing considerrblo damago in

On parish reports the damage at 20 per
cent ; 2 at 25; 1 at liU and 1 at 40; the other
parishes two-thirds of a crop and 2 only a
